NORTHVIEW CAVALIERS

About Us

We reside in a small rural community in North Central Illinois located between Chicago and Peoria. Our cavaliers live in the house and are very much a part of our family.

We are very proud of our dogs: CH Pascavale D’Artagnon, CH Turretbank Nightfall, CH Cotillion Black Caviar, Northview Electrifying, Alberica Just One Look, Alberica Moonlite in Vienna, Loughharbour Annabla, Northview Fire and Ice, and our newest addition Turretbank Flora MacDonald. Each of them has something special to offer to our family.

Our beloved Cassie, Loughharbour Annabla, is the grand dam in our home. She has the most beautiful head and expression. There is no denying that sweet face of hers. Cassie is a very happy, healthy and loving little girl.

Our black and tan girl, CH Cotillion Black Caviar, finished her championship with great ease. Becky has an extremely level top line, fabulous rear angulation, and she moves great whether she is coming or going. All in all, she is a very well made young lady. She has given us her exceptional son Northview Electrifying, and we have high hopes for more in the near future.

Trinny, Alberica Just One Look, offers that famous melting expression of cavaliers. This Blenheim girl is pure poetry in motion. Trinny is pointed in the American Kennel Club and should easily finish adding the Champion title to her name. We are very excited about this little girl and her son as well.

We are fortunate to have Alberica Moonlite In Vienna, a daughter of the current breed record holder in England, CH Keyingham Branwell. This young lady displays a nice level top line and fluid movement with good rear angulation. Vienna is a very happy, energetic young lady that fits well into our family.

The newest member of our group is Turretbank Flora MacDonald, call name Mia, the mighty little black and tan. Mia went Best of Opposite Sex at her very first AKC show, and we expect this dynamite young lady to finish quickly.

Tanner, CH Pascavale D’Artagnon is a beautiful, royally bred young man. He finished his championship on April 1, 2007, and he is producing outstanding puppies with melting expressions. We are very excited about Tanner as a breeding dog. He is producing outstanding puppies with melting expressions, and great bone structure. Please enjoy the following judges critiques on this wonderful boy.

"Jean Babcock's Pascavale D'Artagnon: Super Blenheim dog oozing in class, very elegant showing great ring presence, has that soft melting expression, large dark eyes, set in a well balanced head, lovely ear leathers of good length, neck flowing in to a walleyed shoulder, level top-line, rib sprung well, moved well and with style. Awarded Best Puppy Dog and Best of Opposite Sex."
Judge Dick Terry, UK

"I judged Tanner at the Greater Chicago match in the summer of '06 and made him Winner's Dog and Best of Opposite Sex. I thought him a very elegant dog with strong breed characteristics. He has the most melting large eyes and wonderful temperament."
Judge Janice Koehler, Charlescote Cavaliers, Wisconsin, US

Our boy Night, CH Turretbank Nightfall, has an exquisitely masculine head, with wonderful spring of ribs. When in motion, every step is fluid and effortless. Night gives the illusion of floating across the floor, proving that he is structurally well made. He is a happy, healthy and loving young man that is a great joy to have in our lives. Watch a ring near you for his up and coming offspring, Northview Electrifying! It makes us proud to have judges appreciate this fine boy.

"Rich raven black with the brightest of tan markings on silky coat, lovely head with darkest eyes and soft expression. He is very well put together and can move effortlessly. I could not deny him.”
Judge Liz McInally, Scottland

One of our homebred boys, Northview Electrifying, causes a stir no matter where he shows up. He has a very masculine head type and lovely coat. Night and Becky should be very proud parents.

Northview Fire and Ice, aka Andy, is a very nice little boy that we have high hopes for in the months to come. This young man has fantastic rear angulation, level top line and excellent movement. He may be the youngest member of our family, but he is certainly an awesome addition.

Our philosophy is to produce breed standard and type within our puppies, as well as a sound health foundation. All of the cavaliers used in our breeding program are heart and eye tested annually by board certified specialists. We also do additional health testing as appropriate, including hips & patellas.
